Default Hi There! New WS6 Owner

Hello all!!

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name I Jonathan and I've just aquired a Black on Black 2002 WS6 Trans Am. It's been my dream to own one of the cars for a very long time and to finally have on in my driveway is very surreal.

I look forward to learning much on these boards and hopefully do much of my maintenance on my own. I know I'll ask some stupid n00b questions but trust me I know how to search!!!

Also to explain my username. I have owned a 2001 Sunfire GT 5spd since new. Someone told me that it kind of looked like a mini Trans-Am and it's stuck. It's been my internet "identity" for a very long time now and old habits die hard.

Happy to be here!

i once saw a sunfire with dual fart cans, riced out interior, and a ws6 hood on it. i guess it could have been a mini trans am except for the fact that it was gay as hell(not saying that yours was). lots of good info on this site, read all stickies and have fun searching

Welcome

I consider the trans am as a "Mini Vette" So I guess you could consider the sunfire gt to a "Mini Trans Am." Welcome to the boards. Watch out for the mod bug... if he bites you he bites your wallet!

Welcome
Nah I never did anything dumb like that to it. Just kept the exterior stock. The worst I did was put neons under the dash. I know, I know, I'm sorry.

My current "mod" is paying it off!!! The car does already have a Borla exhaust and I'm just working on changing fluids and such. Did the oil change today and put Mobil 1 in it and yanked that junk Fram off there and put a Delco on.

The itch is a powerful itch. You can get over your head before you know it, it's like a drug. I own a blk/blk 02 SS, welcome to my world!!!!!!! You're gonna love it.

have fun, try and use the search as much as possible...helped me out a lot and i didnt have to ask stupid questions.

when you search you learn more by running into other peoples problems and just picking up things along the way
