Default CARL From CRP's Fabricated 9" Housing is A REAL PIECE OF....

!!!!!!!!!!!ART WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!

just want to post about my experience with carl and his company, Central Racing parts out of wichita KS. most people want to post up bad experiences and dealings with people when sh*t goes wrong. well my experience went so well, I felt i owed it to Carl to put a little pic show together of his efforts.. shameful thing is once its in the car no one will get to appreciate the detail put forth into the creation of this ultra burly man Rear... unless i put it on its roof.. then people will get to check it out

I shopped around quite a bit, checking almost all the other popular fab guys around before pulling the trigger on a CRP fab 9. like most of us i'm impatient, and half broke from these stupid race cars, so i was looking for some one who would build it how i needed it, with some style, within a reasonable time and for a fair price.. well i can say i got all that and some with carl. amazing fellow to deal with and went way out of his way to make sure i knew what was going on with my rear assembly process, and how progress was going. he even was kind enough to send me some progress pics of my baby so i could have some to post for my build thread over on YB.

To make things worse for carl, I wanted 100% custom,2000+hp capable, nothing close to stock F body rear..well I didnt even get a wimper out of him when i ran down my "needs" list pre build. lol! i narrowed it 11" so you can imagine it didnt leave a whole lot of room for a monster ARB and all the other BS that needs to hang in there.

specs on rear end are
-Lots of beautiful and clean Tig welds
-CM main housing tubes
-Fab sheet metal center with upper Wishbone mount, and beefed up Tq arm mount brackets
-11" narrowed
- LCA brackets moved in 3" per side, doubler's added with a large range of adjustment
-coil over shock brackets with ride height adjustment
-ARB mounted under rear in-between shock brackets
-rear end back brace
-extra tubing in between shock and LCA brackets
-Large fill and drain holes
-CM anti roll bar, billet aluminum mounts with spherical bushings a zerk fittings
-CM ARB links
-CM Tourqe arm, with extra gussets and bracing

So today this coffin arrived at my work today... wasnt sure if it was dracula or my 9 so i had to proceed with caution...hahah.. let me tell you what..this thing was crated up like a boss, 100 screws,a hammer, a pry bar and 2 red bulls later i finally got it out...in one piece
Check out the hand written thank you on the box! your welcome Carl!

looks like a tank for sure. and is absolutely lighter then the moser 9" it replaced.
i will weigh it tomorrow. some other people asked me the same question. i wish i weighed my moser 9",spohn tq arm and anti sway before i sold it. but i can tell you i struggled carrying the bare moser housing and anti sway.. i carried this housing with the arb bolted up from my truck all the way to the back of my shop with out breaking a sweat

center section is a moser through bolt aluminum piece. with billet caps
mark williams front bearing housing,35 spline pro gears, with over sized ARP bolts, 3.55 ratio. mark williams spool, and strange gun drilled 40's are goin in it

i told him the same thing, i think hes going to update his site in the near future.

options well.. anything from a bolt in stock dimesnion fab 9" to wild *** outlaw 10.5 rear like mine dosnt seem to be a problem. apparently the next fab 9 hes building is more crazy then mine. and hes a strange dealer so he can stuff it with all the goodies they offer to at great prices
