I've heard through the grapevine that Ray Pampena (owner) sees Jay on occasion, but not that often I guess. I've heard that apparently Jay has lost his house along with trying to sell his car to cover some of his expenses.

I'm sure he would take care of everything for everyone if he was able to, but I don't know that he can. From his first post he wants to sell the rights to his CNC program, but I don't know if he can do that while he still has many outstanding transactions with the machinist. If someone could find out which CNC machinist he has or is using we might be able to get somewhere and make some progress.

I know for me personally, I would be willing to possibly pay for the CNC work so I could just get my heads back.

I think JF WS6 may be a little to kind. If these heads are at the machinist and he lacks funds for parts, there would be a simple solution. Simply have the customer pay the remaining portion of the purchase price (for example I paid a $900 deposit) directly to his supplier for machine work and parts so their heads could be completed. If I were Jay and this was a possible solution to avoid fraud charges, I would be all over this in a New York minute. His actions suggest that the CNC's heads don't exist and never existed!

I totally understand what you are saying, but many people didn't just pay a deposit, but paid in full already. I know it seems that if the info I got is true, there should be a reasonable solution, but not everyone thinks about things in the most logical manner. Only Jay knows what is really going on, so I may have been misinformed like you said. I know my heads exist because I sent them to him to be redone, Jay told me they were CNC'ed last summer although I don't know if that is true or not at this point.

I'm talking about the average customer that purchased through one of his group sale promotions. If he's telling us the truth, he should be able to resolve the vast majority of these compliants. If you sent him heads or paid in full, you have a different problem.

If you sent him heads, I would weigh the value of these heads against what I paid to have them reworked and most likely ask for my heads back and ask for some sort of monthly pay back on what I paid to have them reworked. I suspect that you will get neither. Most likely your heads were reworked and sold to someone else.

My problem is that he offered to redo them for free, but if I don't get them back I'm out the initial $2300 these cost me when they were first done. If they were redone and sent to someone else.... Let's just say I sure as hell hope that isn't the case.

I'm sure some of you guys might be interested in following this new thread in the internal engine forum: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...13#post2458513

Yah that thread is interesting. I hope you get the contact info, because if someone is CNC'ing the heads they might be able to get these old orders out.

Well, if he did sell his company and now is just working as an employee of said company, I'm sorry to say but the new owner is going to have to be responsible for all these old orders. Especially if the name of the company is still Absolute Speed. We need to find out who this is that is the new owner if that information is true.

Well, all of us have basically heard the same things in a roundabout way I think. He's broke, lost his house, was selling his car, massively in debt and no way to pay for work or parts to finish peoples heads.

If he indeed was able to sell his company, I think that may be better for the rest of us still waiting and Jay himself since they (the new owner) should know about all the outstanding orders that need to be taken care of. I actually hope it's true because if it isn't who knows when all these other transactions will get taken care of. I'm sure most of us would just love some sort of resolution so we don't have to think about this any more.

If he sold his company and the company was a corporation, that corporation is still responsible for filling all outstanding orders if it has any assets to do so. However, I wouldn't buy the stock of a corporation like that and I doubt anybody else did either. Probably just sold the CNC program that he owned indivdually, if he sold anything at all.

His story about not being able to sell the CNC program while orders are outstanding does not make sense unless the company was a corporation. However, he could argue that the CNC program was his personal property and sell it anyway. Probably took that money and diverted it to some other purpose too! Could have just started another company with a different name and started all over. Does anyone know for sure that he is working for someone else and who its is. Who owns the company he is working for? Might be worth investigating this company to see if there is any relationship to Jay.

Has Jay stopped returning phone calls again? Has anybody talked to him lately? It looks like Ed talked to him. When did you talk to him Ed?

So far nobody has PM'ed me any information in regarding this company buyout (I asked them to in the original thread.) I still haven't received a call back either.

I have made arrangements to have my heads checked and flowed when Jay gets them to me. I'll post up that info or either have the shop post it up so nothing gets lost in the translation. I hope it won't be too much longer on mine.
