APE rocks. chris is the man, but he needs to hire a chick to do paperwork and answer phones and bill out invoices. then this wont happen. but i dont think ANY OTHER sponsor even has this kind of deal. so in addition to having one of the cheapest short blocks you can buy, they also offer you a free motor after 30 days. cannot go wrong. and you should be honored to have any motor nicks hands have touched. just hope that he washed em before he touches anything you own, haha.

I think that its awesome that they are keeping their word on it, got to give APE an A+ for effort thats for sure.

I think that they can afford to give away a motor everynow and then, judgeing from the time its takeing them to get to mine. (i dont think i have the time limit promise like whoever posted this has) I ordered it 7 weeks ago. Then today for example noone answered the phone and i called like 10 times so i guess thats how busy they are building motors..

Wow this is taking a life of its own here. Allow me to dispell some of the comments here and make a little sense of this for everyone.
The on-time guarantee is a lot like when you order a pizza from Dominos, 30 minutes or less or its free. Same deal with us, we give you a date and do our damndest to hit it. This is not in any way a marketing ploy, or a way to drum up more business. The shortblock sale we just had treated us very well. By the same token if one of our vendors is late with a part, that is our issue not yours. Such was the case with madpwr's engine, I am still waiting for a part to complete his engine, but he shouldn't be penalized for that.
When core blocks arrive they go off site to get cleaned and decked, that is all. After that they come back to me, and from there on out its APE Quality all the way. I personally machine every block, and balance every rotating assembly to the strictest of tolerances. I also handle the assembly primarily, these days Chris is pretty busy but he also spends time in the engine room when available. I am personally putting in 60+hr weeks in order to make sure that people are hitting deadlines, and that those without deadlines still get their engines in a somewhat timely manor. With the racing season drawing near, it is now more important than ever to get these engines out. Nothing makes me feel better than seeing cars tear down the track with APE Power!!
Quality is job one, and we absolutely refuse to budge on that point. While I hate for motors to be late, I'd rather deliver quality than a rush job. Our customers work just as hard as I do, so I do my best to make sure that when it comes time to play you get your moneys worth. Thats APE's stand.
