Jantzer's quality work?
Well here are the pictures of the smoothed valve covers that Scott Jantzer did for me. Notice that there is only one PCV tube. The "chrome bolts" that I paid $20 extra dollars for were actually polished and useless because they would have leaked non stop. Pits and dings all over the place, not to mention the three inch black scuff that he clear coated over. Valve covers look like CRAP and he ripped me off $245. No replies to my emails so here are the pics. TO SCOTT: AT LEAST ONE OF US KEPT UP OUR END OF THE DEAL!
I have lots more if needed.

I don't know what the deal was with the valvecovers. I had a very
hard time with that color and set of valvecovers for some reason. I had to
refinsh the valvecovers 4 times and I still couldn't get them to not bubble
up a little. What happens is the heat from the oven opens up poors in the
metal and the stock valve covers and maf ends are VERY difficult to keep
from contaminating the surface. Oils etc. seep out and bubble the finish.
I always bake them several times prior to coating to help with this.
Usually if I have to do a couple coats, sand/prep etc. then I can pretty
much get away from it. There are a few colors that are harder to get to
look perfect and like chome and chrome smoke are probably the hardest.

I thought I would be done by now. But I broke a drill bit off in my arm
that has slowed me considerably. It is my goal to have the parts out by
friday, so we shouldn't have a problem. I will get back with you soon.
thx,
Scott

this thread is done for now. z28smokin, PM me when you get your new VC's and I'll re-open it.
maybe you all can figure out what it means NOT to bash...regardless of whether you feel its deserved or not.
