Thumbs down Futral order never showed up?

I orderd a FM13, prc spring kit, Yank ss3600, tranny cooler, and a dual timming chain. Placed order on aug 2. called on aug 10 and they said it shipped, I've called and left messages but no call back? Has anyone else had this problem with futral?

No. They just got hit by a hurricane so their phones and stuff are out. Give them some time and they will take care of you. Futral has top notch customer service and I personally don't konw of anyone that has had a bad experience with them.

There is pretty much no means of communication down there right now. I've herad that Futral and Thunder favored the storm well, but you'll still have to wait for phone/power lines to be returned into service before they can do anything for you.

well that was a month ago and the hurricane came through a week ago so there are 3 weeks un accounted for, he should have already had his stuff.

off topic question: if the hurricane hit and wiped out post offices and other mailing systems is there a chance it is lost in the mail?

there's a good chance that something happened with the package in transit. there's no telling how much mail and how many packages etc are unaccounted for out there in LA and the surrounding areas. good luck getting the situation resolved but this is not the place for sales complaints. that is what the sponsor feedback section is obviously for.

Turn on Fox News and you'll have your answer.

If you can't envision one of the hundreds of things that may have happened to your package(s), you don't have much of an imagination.

There's a TON of UPS packages from that area that were held up from a few days before the hurricane due to the mandatory evacuation order. There was solid traffic for several days before the actual storm hit because of it.

Just chill out man, I'm also waiting on a package from Thunder Racing - no idea when I'll get it, but I'm just happy to hear those guys were all OK. Futral is one company I don't have any worries about you getting your stuff, the Futral family are top notch, honest folks.

I think a lot of you guys fail to see the point that the package was supposed to be shipped on August 10th! He never got a call back from them with the tracking number, this was all well ahead of Katrina. So first of all, the package should have gotten to him by like the 15th, and second, he should have gotten a call with the tracking number.

But I am not surprised, the only way you get a tracking number for sure is to do the order online instead of over the phone, that's been my experience. Most companies just don't have the time to send tracking numbers if the automated system doesn't do it for them, which only happens when you order online. When my cam was on the way, I did call for a number, and I did get one...great service from Thunder Racing

When I was in the market for a cam, I did call Futral as well, but only got the answering machine even after 8 calls there...and that was in June.

I know they are going through a seriously rough time right now, but his package should have made it waaaaaaaaaaaaay ahead of Katrina. You guys make it seem like he ordered the parts a couple of days before Katrina and that he's now bitching that noone is answering the phone and that his package is not there, which of course is not the case.

Be things as they may....I wish Futral and Thunder, and the other Louisiana Sponsors nothing but the best!

Thumbs down

I am not too happy with the lack of communication at Futral eiter. It took 30 days to get my cam and when I did get it, it was the wrong LSA. I left PM's with no responses.Turns out I will keep this cam, because I was torn between the two anyways. No sorry bout that, what can we do to fix the problem,nothing...All this was LONG before any hurricane issues as well.I feel they are good people also ,but CS not great IMO.

I know thunder racing is getting emails. I emailed their tech department today and got a response back inside a couple of hours. I haven't heard anything back from Futral, be patient.

Thunder Racing is in Baton Rouge, they have power and I believe most of their systems are back up and online and running, and I know they were open today (Labor Day).

Futral Motorsports is in Walker, and last I heard a lot of powerlines were still down out there and they have no way to communicate with people, so be patient.
