Sick of HiFlo!!!, going with PTK what do you guys think?
Iam sick of waiting for my HiFLo kit to come in, havent had my car in almost a year. Iam thinking of cancelling my 8month old order and jumping ship to the PTK, I talked to Greg over there and he was very cool and helpful. My questions are how are the guys that have them or seen them in action thing of PTK? I be getting the 4" down pipe from HiFlo, so I be giving that up for PTK's 3" DP, and I think ground clearence is lesser too than the HiFlo. Is there anything I should know what to expect of PTK? So far their customer service is good and delivery time too, but what about fit and finish. So what do you guys think of this as overall product quality and its perforamance, Iam so SICK of HiFlo's **** and cant even explain anymore... now if I can only get them to answer their phones to cancell my order.

PTK might still be a bad word here. I live in the SA area where they are based out of. They make some nice stuff. But they are not a sponsor anymore on here due to not paying the bill.

They are a very good shop and do great work. Greg and Dalton will definatly be honest with you. I've ordered 2 kits from them and will say you can expect to wait around 2-3 months for a full kit, but you will be very happy with the end product.
FWIW the sponsor deal was a clusterfuck, and I think it's still being situated with the bigwigs on the board
Also, you 98 would be a great canidate for a PTK kit. My buddies cobra with a PTK kit, stock heads and cams, forged bottom end went 10.26 at 137. Not bad for 16 psi and a lot more in it.

Dave

Links to PT? pics in my signature if you wanna see what's there. Some are scattered across the later pages in the thread too. The alternator setup has been a source of scorn for some on their setup. Mine seems to be ok, CAM did a little magic on their bracket. Other than that, all piping goes over the k-member, tubular manifolds instead of logs, and you get to keep A/C. FWIW, I love my kit, but if I didn't want A/C in the car I'd go with the TTi Race kit.

HP Performance had developed at Single turbo kit for the F-body. It may go under the K-member, but the kit includes an aftermarket K-member so bottoming out isn't that big of a problem. Texas Speed sells the kits if i am not mistaken. Call TSP, they can give you the skinny

A friend of mine (ex Hi Flo customer) is entering month 4 of his PTK kit wait (cancelled Hi Flo at end of March, ordered PTK at same time). Kit status is in fabrication, but I'm not even holding my breath to see it by the end of July. They're not exactly 'off the shelf' kits either.
ATI could have you a complete D1SC kit by... next week. And you keep AC.

If you really want a turbo, and want one before fall I would call up TTi and see what they have. Their race kit has a good rep and puts down the power (see MM car), plus I bet you could get it a ton faster that non-sponser or hi-flo.

Correct me if I am wrong but, dosent the TTi downpipe run under the k-member?
edit: oh wait I mean the where the headers merge?
p.s. very old pic, don't know if they have changed routing
