New GXP Owner Here! Hi Everyone! Well, I have posted a few times since I got my car about a week ago, just never had time to make a "Hello" thread.
Name is Chad, bought this 2005 Grand Prix GXP about a week ago from Kentucky, I live in Michigan. Drove down to get here and have been loving every minute since. Had to replace a idler pulley but no big deal.
Nice to see some people who like the LS4 cars. When I took a look at Grandprixforums, they were dicks to anyone without a V6.

damn man that first pic is absolutely gorgeous.. car was made to be black lol ... thats a good calendar shot right there... good job on the car, and the color, put money aside for the tranny rebuild tho because it WILL die on you . just a mater of time.

Sweet car! Yeah, black is an awesome color when it's clean. Been there done that.....'86 Buick GN and '91 Sentra SE-R. If you can keep on top of it the color can't be beat.

some people just dont appreciate the fact that we have a V8 and they dont ... but then again, the other cars with V8's dont like the fact that we look better and get less attention from cops too

And as far as the cop. I would guarantee thats that case! If I was a cop, I would do the same. I have wanted a GXP since they were released. Every single I have seen since has received a gawk from me

nowadays i get people in drive thru's asking me what the car is ... and all it took was about $200 worth of mufflers/parts and labor/welding to wake her up ... but im beginning to suspect the people in my neighborhood really hate me starting her up past 10 pm ...
ohhhh ... i forgot, the cold air intake has been bouncing around in my trunk for like a week ... really just holding my sub box in until i can get it mounted properly after finding a good ground for the amp ... and im ranting ...

What do u plan to do to her? Also did u take that first and second pic very early in th morning? I am asking because ur front turn signals are all fogged up unless u modded them to look like that?
