i remember back in the early to mid 90`s when my brother and i showed our cars together it was the best time, we knew everyone, and it was like a weekend long party, there were no car show politics, didnt have blow the judges, ya just went to have fun
now, its like you have to blow the judges, way to much politics now, and i heard froma friend of mine that used to run the show up here in chicago, nothing above 1970 is being alowed in, so i asked him is that why my alero got denied?? his response is maybe or the panel didnt like what you did to your car
even at the outside summer shows, everyone is bowin everyone out there, so i stay away from that crap talk to who i know and thats it, the last time i had a car in that show was in 1995 when i took 2nd place in contempoary hardtop, i still go to the show every year, and see the changes it has gone through
from awesome hot rods, to a ****** import show now, but anyways its a long *** weekend and i mean long!!!! talking to some stupid people, all the questions, ugghhhh that is the only part i hated, just watch your stuff too i had allot of stuff stolen when we left at night, so put the moveable stuff in your car so nothing gets stolen
i like sunday night when everyone is leaving, here its like a drag strip inside the mc cormick place,lol, its so ****** loud, lol all the cars running and waiting to leave, that to me was the best part of the whole weekend
but enjoy yourself, watch your stuff, and watch out for the stupid questions

This will be my third show first with the SS though they have a wide range here of cars trucks and bike from old to new. Just when Sunday get there you are just worn out.
