Stupid Question: Gauges
Stupid Question: Gauges Guys I just got my A-pillar gauge pod in the mail and I need to fill these spots with gauges, preferably Trans Temp, Nitrous, AFR.
Could someone explain the difference between electric/mechanical and where I need to tap into to get the correct readings on these gauges. I don't want to be running around spraying without a nitrous gauge, AFR gauge, and most importantly a trans temp gauge just so I can monitor how that sucker is doing.

ive been looking for somethin that would actually fit without a lot of work. what did you end up getting?
you will probably need to add a sending unit to one of the bungs on the transmission that was meant for a cooler to get that temperature. i remember someone doing that. not sure how many wire the sending unit would have to be. its similar to what they use to monitor oil pressure, but for temp.

they sell sensors too so you can see whats all possible to monitor.

I put and inline unit to read trans temp for the GP on the line going to the radiator.

theres two outputs for the transmission oil cooler. police impalas have it and im not sure what else does. one of the holes goes straight up and one is straight towards the front of the vehicle. the pipes go to two locations on the drivers side portion of the radiator. theres a quick connection fitting with some sort of snap ring it looks like.
