Jeremy, did you ever get pictures of some of the LS4 porting you've done so far?

Nice! If the conditions were similar, you are looking at a 20ish horse bump from just porting the intake. Cheap horsepower indeed!

That's interesting. Do you have the pcm with the two large and one smaller plugs or the other way around?

ECM has 2 long plugs and a short one and TCM has 1 plug. Excuse my ignorance but what's the PCM?

bump

would like to see what the results were. Pics and dyno results would persuade me to spend money on my GXP instead of my mustang.

There are dynos in the OP. I haven't had anyone send me any LS4s lately... I will take pics if someone would send me one, before and after. We currently have an article in the Sept issue of "High Performance Pontiac" Titled "Breathing Room" We picked up 15RWHP with the manifold alone.
I would like to point out the fact that the LS4 is the worst manifold on any LS engine and it has the most room for improvement. If you look at the runners it doesnt take any genius to understand that they dont flow very well. There are many disruptions and and restricting points. If you have questions please call me and I will do all that I can to answer them.
We have ported over 600 intakes with excellent results and we port our manifolds MUCH MORE thoroughly than our competitors. You LS4 guys have been the most apprehensive but yet you are the group that would benefit the most, Send me some manifolds and you will not be disappointed.

Yeah the dynos in the OP are of LS2s. I understand your thinking that the LS4 intake should show bigger gains, but I want to see it on a dyno chart. I don't know if you have seen an LS4 intake in person, but the real bottleneck is the kinked TB neck of the intake. Regardless of what you do in the runners, if you can't get air into them, it won't do you much good.

The problem is we are not vette owners. WE DRIVE our cars everyday. We cant just tear our car apart and wait. Also some LS4 dyno sheets would be nice.

i am resisting because i ported my tb, intake manifold, exhaust manis and i only gained like 10 hp on the dyno. I gained about 50lbs of torque from it though. Def not what is being claimed though.
