Sorry to upset you.... When he stated "things I am doing" I didn't know if he meant himself or having someone else do it to his car. Please excuse my stupidity...

Sorry to say, as 50 lb-ft would be an awesome improvement, but I don't even have to see your dyno sheet to know that the increase was below your torque converter stall speed. If it was above it, you would have had a hell of a lot more than a 10 peak horsepower gain. Flashing the converter higher likely means a decent torque increase, always a plus, but it was definitely less of an increase than shown on your graph. Probably less than half. Still, if you got 20ish lb-ft, it is a very good increase.

very true!

When we dyno'd my GF's Mustang, I made a custom shift calibration when we were there to shift into 3rd at 5mph and lockup the TC at 8 mph so we could dyno tune it and get accurate results each time. Otherwise, you are playing around with flashing the converter and no 2 pulls are the same.

Default This Just In...

Ordered us some new LS4 intake manifolds today, so we can do this now with a core charge, so you don't have to remove your intake and send it to us and having your car down for any length of time.

Check out this month's Pontiac High Performance article on Jeremy's tuning and porting that netted 29hp and 31 lb-ft:
http://www.highperformancepontiac.co...ody/index.html

We currently port all of Texas Speed FAST LSX manifolds
Check out there link here and see what we can do with the FAST:

JeremyF, would you be able to post some before and after photos of the port jobs on LS4 manifolds once you have done a couple? It would be nice to see how much your able to open these manifolds up. A Dyno test would be great too, but I know that will be harder to come by.

Looking to get a good A-B comparison to show just how restrictive these manifolds are, as they are the most restrictive in the LS family. In fact, if anyone would like to do this we will offer the dyno tune at 1/2 off or $200.00 and the intake ported for only $150.00. Normal prices are $400.00 for the dyno tune and $300.00 for the intake. This is in addition to the dyno time (typically $75.00).

Here are some pictures:

There is a ton of material that is removed in these manifolds, and can not wait for someone to take us up on the offer so we can post before and after dyno #'s.

So if anyone is local or will come to the Tampa area you can have your LS4 intake ported and LS4 car dyno tuned for $350.00 plus the dyno time.

Thank you!

Mgpeagle - yes it is!

Slomaro2 -Just replied to your PM

Mels SS - Porting the intake and TB $400 ground shipped back-48states
Porting the intake only $300 ground shipped back-48 states
Porting the TB only $125 ground shipped back to the lower 48

texasGXP08 - We will certainly be doing the porting, but the 1/2 off dyno tune and intake porting should be grabbed up very soon.

dapope1 - The intake porting takes about 3-4 hours, the dyno tuning about the same.

You guy's in Iraq be safe, and thank you!
