Me and my wife looked at the G8 GXP and it was nice color Liquid Red
Black leather gas gussler tax 1700 and the price 42k I just don't think
its worth the money the SS has just about all the options the G8 has
for a lot less.

 

I don't think the G8 GXPs are worth it, but the GTs are.

Especially used ones. I'm kicking myself for getting my Grand Prix GXP last year and not holding out for a G8!

 

42K plus 1,700, ouch. Grab a Camaro SS at that price and step into 450hp with a 6 speed!

 

I dont ever plan on buying a new car. I think in a year or two used prices on G8 GXP will be perfect Then ill pick one up

 

I wouldn't buy a new car either. Wait for the depreciation to hit some one else and take advantage of it. I don't understand why any one would buy a G8 GXP over a Camaro SS. You could have the 2SS/RS for that price. What is GM thinking?

I'm hearing that production is gonna stop. Wait for that and watch the prices DROP (no rhyming intent) so they can get rid of them.

 

People wanna go fast and still have 4 doors? Not everyone wants a 2 door car. They are a little pricey though. You could go just as fast for under 30 g's with a new WRX which is faster than the STI.

I'd pick the G8 GXP over the Camaro any day mainly cause I absolutely hate the Camaro. In reality though I'd never buy either car.

 

If you're gonna wait around for a used 4 door, wait for a CTS-V to float down the pipe.

 

We were just looking at it I have 2 new Silverados I have pay for first and I will always have the SS.

ok dont get me wrong i like my grand prix but with all the problems iam having, i really want a g8 or something else like a challenger srt-8 or charger srt-8
i really dont know how much longer i can handle the issues with this car, they are damn sexy cars when i picke dup my car again from the dealership i saw 2 of them on the lot, mmmmmmm pure sex on wheels

 

Saw the GXP road test on Motorweek, thought they were going to roll the car in the corners. Needs some serious sway bars in it.

As much as I like the G8's I wouldn't pay the extra 10 grand for a GXP.

 

They could have had tc off.

Yeah, I hear ya. I know that people want/need a 4-door and also want performance. Also, not every one likes the Camaro. So touche salesman!

I've been there. Good place! I like going to O'Hara's Sports in Highland, it is on 45th Street behind the Centier bank. In the summer on Friday night there are all sorts of cars up there. Mostly classic muscle cars, which is how it should be. Highland Gyros has cars on Saturday though, right?
