Custom Tune People - Shift Points
For those of you with HP Tuners or other tunes that allow you to change your shift points. When are you shifting from 1 -2 ?

Here's my shift settings:
--------------RPM-----Speed
Stock --------5950----44 mph
Tuned--------6250----52 mph
The shift is a bit slow, so the engine actually hits 6310 rpm during the 1-->2 shift, which puts it into the rev limiter (currently set @ 6300) so I have to back the shift speed off a bit.

2-->3 shift
--------------RPM-----Speed
Stock --------5400----84 mph
Tuned--------6150----103 mph
Don't have a datalog on this shift, so not sure how high it actually revs before shifting into 3rd, but it will be below the rev limiter.

Seems like I'm on the right track, I've set my shift points to 6200 on all up shifts. I was just curious because the last time my car was on the Dyno she stopped making power at 5800 +/- and was going to set the shift points there, but the gear ratio from 1st to 2nd is such a big change, I figured the extra 400RPM (although maybe a waste) would help by starting 2nd at a higher RPM
