Default MAF and Predator BRAND NEW

Both parts are BRAND NEW. I used the predator on my LS4 SS but I'm trading her in and taking the tune out so I don't need it. It was literally used once and I restored the stock tune so she is back to good as new. Barely out of the box (which I still have.)
And the MAF is an 88 Cold Air which I never installed because I never got around to buying the translater for it.

275.00 for the Predator
250.00 for the MAF.

What translator are you talking about for the MAF?

When I bought that MAF from Summit for the LS4 SS Impala they said it would fit right on but it's a 5 prong not 3 so I believe you need some sort of conversion. That's what my mechanic said. It's made to go with either your K and N or CAI for the LS4.

don't use aftermarket MAF's, they screw up your tune...

plus, the stock MAF's are good for 500+ hp anyway, which we'll never make outta these cars anyway... you'll never max out the range of the stock MAF with these cars...

the aftermarket's cause tuning/running issues, and don't gain you anything anyway...

Thanks for helping the sale. If you call Summit they will tell you this MAF is made for an LS4 or LS2 but the LS4 must have the CAI.

ALso PREDATOR SOLD.

I hate doing this but OBO on the MAF. This thing never even left my cabinet and I spent over 300. A reasonable offer and I'll ship same day.

of course they'll tell you that, they want to sell it and make money

sorry dude, not tryin' to railroad YOUR sale, but just trying to help others and give 'em a heads up... there's no reason to swap our MAF's...

I have seen/tuned MANY MANY MANY people, some of which had aftermarket MAF's, and the tunes would never get dialed in correctly, cars wouldn't idle correctly, etc etc...

after putting the stock MAF's back on, VOILA!! everything ran perfect and was able to get dialed in correctly. so, all of these people ended up wasting $$$$ on the aftermarket MAF's, which don't do anything anyway, except lighten your wallet and mess with the car's tune causing it to not run correctly.

we'll never max out the usable range of our stock MAF's on these cars - which is the only time you really need to get an aftermarket MAF anyway - for high-horsepower applications of 500+hp where the MAF frequency is maxxed out... which is something that won't be reached in our cars either... the stock MAF is good for ~500hp...

you should also post it for sale on the http://www.ls1.com forum... bunch of camaro, gto, firebird/trans-am guys over there...

"06MonteSS" you do know that there are ls4 cars making well over 500 crank hp already?.. and its not that hard when a turbo is involved.

not without being F/I they're not... I'm talking about still being N/A...

eh, didn't think that turbo kit brought it up THAT high hahaha... but anyway, so in that case, yeah you do need the aftermarket MAF it comes with, cuz now you're talking F/I and not N/A anymore, and you're over 500hp and at the limit of the stock MAF....

so still, for our N/A cars, an aftermarket MAF is not needed.

Speaking of MAF's, does ours work with any other vehicles? I had to replace mine sometime last year to get the screen that I threw out a long time ago, so now I have two MAF's. No sense holding on to it if it's worth something to someone else.

So...just wondering if I can list it as fitting other vehicles.

780 rwhp, CMR tuned, stock GM 85mm MAF...nothing to it....
