Default Summer Oil

Well it is almost here...the first day of summer is coming fast....so do any of you change your oil to a thicker blend in the summer??? I am running 5W30 right now...and was wondering if it would help...

I mix mine. I put 3 quarts of 10-30 and 3.5 quarts of 5-30. I use Royal Purple.

5w-30 Castrol Synthetic - I'll drop in a little Lucas oil treatment if I'm going to hit the track, but that's it. You wouldn't put cheap shitty parts / tires / headlights / etc on there, so don't use cheap oil, it's the blood that keeps the good times rolling!

I mix it to have a slightly thicker viscosity in the summer. I am sure it desn't matter much. I call it 7.3W-30. lol...

doesn't mixing 30 weight oil with 30 weight oil, give u 30 weight oil??
the 5w and 10w number is only what the oil is when cold... once it warms up, its still a 30 weight...

first number is pour point. second number is high temp viscocity. If i remeber
