Default new rotors, pads, and painted calipers

Finally got them done. I bought the powerstop premium line slotted/drilled rotors and powerstop ceramic pads from brakemotive for $360 shipped. Brakemotive's customer service was excellent and the product is very nice. I got the silver g2 caliper kit for about $30 shipped and the decals came from vinzdecals.com for $11. They work extremely well compared to the stock hardware. Here's some pics:

and here's a few pics of my hand controls- I don't think I've posted any of those yet. The lever to the left of the steering column is the brake and gas. Push in for brake and down for gas- pretty simple.

Good work. We have a local memeber with a GTO and SRT-8 jeep with hand controls. That is some crazy stuff.

Those rims are absolutely SWEET! How much did you pay for them? I think they would look great on my black GXP.

My wife loves Monte's. She saw this thread and wet herself... lol...

Very good job. Did you do all the work yourself?

Looks good, can I ask what causes you to need hand controls? My old man was in the process of getting hand controls before he passed, since he was a double amputee.

Thanks for the feedback. I picked up the wheels on ebay for $300 for all 4 brand new in boxes. Got lucky with that I guess. One of my fiiends has a shop with a couple of lifts so it was nice to be able to have all four wheels, calipers, and brackets off at the same time. It made painting them easy. I broke a few vertebrae in my neck almost two years ago jumping into a pool and am paralyzed below my chest. My hands are pretty weak too. So needless to say my friend did most of the work but I did most of the painting and still got to get a little dirty. I've done most of the other work on my car because I don't really like other people pissing around with my vehicles, but there are some things I just can't do anymore.

Oh man hearing that makes me very sad. If there is any advice I can give to make your life easier regarding your vehicles just either post a thread or PM me. Almost brings a tear to my eye.

I applaud you, sir. It takes a lot of grit to not give up. To hear about oyour accident and see you still have a passion for cars and still actively mod your MCSS is inspiring man.

Thanks fellas. I'm at the point now where I have nothing left to do except for some more performance mods, and frankly, it's a daily driver that sees winter duty so I don't know how crazy I want to go. However, that cartuning turbo kit and supporting mods would be a blast. I kinda want a 5th gen camaro too, when I'm done with school- so we'll see.

As far as being in a wheelchair goes, it sucks donkey *****. At least I get primo parking spots, I guess.

I also got the brakemotive crossdrilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads, and they are top notch. Stops on a dime, and look great. I didn't have time to paint the calipers but I will soon. Looks good bro!
