HUD controls for GXP?

HUD controls for GXP? My 77 yr old dad just bought a 2007 GXP.
Yeah shocked me too.
Where are the controls to turn the HUD on and off (aka HUD display button)?
Today out of the blue it shut off.
I'm guessing he hit the wrong switch somewhere.

The HUD controls is the round thing below and to the right of the gear shifter. 
Push the middle button in to select a couple different modes and turn the **** to increase and decrease brightness. I'll bet it's just turned down.

it is a **** that is behind the shifter next to the TC button. might wanna try turning it all the way to the right since that would be the brightest setting.

Thanks guys. I had no idea what that was lol.
I thought it was the little **** behind the steering wheel to the left.
So what do the other buttons on that **** do? Like the ones beside the middle button.
Oh and he wants a cold air intake ASAP
