I guess stiffer shocks/struts, thicker sway bar etc, put the car on a diet, lower the tire pressure to help hook better, not sure what else...there isn't much out there.

RWD mod

And I assume he meant handling as in taking corners, so a lower tire pressure would be the opposite needed lol. I wonder if Koni makes shocks/struts for w-body applications

got an 06 impala ss my self and have been looking to upgrade the handling also..
u can start wit STB's from Don rome or ZZP (well there brackets) and then the GMPP bars(cheaper)
and then the GMPP handling package is what is already offered on the SS not sure bout the GXP,(front is 34mm solid bar and 18 solid rear) also just found out we can upgrade the rear sway wit a bar from addco (639) for the 7/8 bar or (2179) for the 1" bar.. come complete with bushing and endlinks..
and also the gmpp trailing arms are also an upgrade compared to the ones offered from BMR which look wayy stronger but are also pretty pricey..imo
but yea thats just some ideas.

I have strut tower braces and Eagle F1 A/S's set to 35 PSI cold, all the handling you can really ask for out of these cars.

The combo of the tires and rear STB did it for me. I may do poly endlinks and bushings, but way too low on my list of things to do.

The only thing I dont like about the F1's is the noise and the wear - I only got 30k out of mine, but I also use them on every on / off ramp I get on. I'm thinking of replacing them with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes because the noise comfort is two points higher and the wear rating is 500 -vs- 420 with the F1's

I just put these on the front of my car 2 weeks ago. I was going to do a write-up on them but I’ve been a little busy. These things are bad ***, I’ve pushed them a lot harder on a couple of turns and they stick like glue. I didn’t realize how noisy the stock tires where till I got these now I’ve got to change the back ones because the sound is driving me crazy don’t know how long there going to last though, the wife sent me a text the other day that said and I quote “Weeeeeeeeeee!!!!! These tires sure smoke when they spin!!!!! Weeeeeeee”.

You lose balance and rear traction, your backend will break lose or even buckle under force

U dont wanna lower air preasure too much. If your too low on Air preasure you will just roll the side walls of your tire if your pushing the car really hard.
