Default 09 Impala SS ?

I traded a 06 Monte SS for my current 08 Impala LTZ that has 16,000 miles. Have a chance to trade for 09 Impala SS with 7,000 miles for $3,500. The 09 SS listed for 33K, the LTZ for 29K. only thing stopping me is the 5mpg difference, what do you think?

The SS has a better suspension and should be better equipped. Plus that would be a last year SS...

can you list the actual trade in and buy numbers, or are you just asking about the gas mileage.

If you started with an SS car and traded it for an LTZ car why would you want to trade back to an SS car...this goes against logic...

If gas mileage is your main concern then I'd stick with what you've got, but if you're wanting to have a little fun as well as pick up a lower mileage ride for just a bit more coin, then I'd jump all over it! Was your original SS getting to be high mileage? Is that why you traded to begin with? Just curious.

Joe.

I think the LTZ does not have enough horsepower, which is why I bought the SS.

This is a **Factory Purchase Vehicle** does anyone know what that means? Could it be something like a Lemon buy back?

Highly doubt they would sell a lemon. Maybe it just means it was special ordered versus being purchased right off a dealer lot.

Two things that stand out to me is you got rid of the great seats and got 5 more to the gallon.

The seats alone would keep me out of an Impala, but I'm right there with you on the MPG of the LTZ.

how is it only gonna be $3500? do u mean $13500? and a "factory purchase" is a fancy name for an 'executive demo", a car driven by a rep or some higher up guy...
