That is pretty impressive! How much room is under the car, I didn't think there would be enough room to support the exhaust pipe and charge pipe. What kinds of pressure are you able to get out of that set up? What egt's are you seeing? And how much lag time is there? And lastly, post up some numbers. Looks great thou, just put on a nice tip.

Thanks guys!! and HA HA...yes it is the shortest LMAO...you guys coupe with me pretty good though...you know I dont post unless its something I really feel I can have some input on...AND THIS IS A LONG ONE TOO!! LOL
It is not yet boosting, that was just the factory MAP sensor and injectors...the MAF was still factory...that was the break in period for the pump and to check how the return and feed system would work together...had to keep out of boost LOL
We just put on the 3BAR MAP and finally got it refrenced right so it would stop throwing codes at us....as well as the LS7 MAF sensor...we had to completely rewire and switch up the factory 5 prong connector to fit...lots of scamatics lol...
As far as room under the car...the car def. asked for what and where it is...we just followed the pipe and how the car asked for it..if that makes since...we told ourselves in the beginning of this project, that if it didnt fit, we wouldnt make it, MUCH lol...so this whole system is where the car will let it go...and for the most part, fit very very well....as far as the mounting of the turbo...and how we kept the room there...well, thats all in how you clock the turbo...and lots of drawing and measuring LOL...pipes are snug, but they fit at the right angle...
this has been a 8 month project with R&D with calobo with several sponsors that you will see on my build thread i will be posting up shortly...then the numbers..but with our compression ratio and no meth, we are going to run approx 7psi of boost, as far as lag, with combo of 3.29 gears and a T4-T70 with A/R of .96, we will have a lot of top in, from what our numbers are telling us, and the car as of right now, the AFR start to lean out around 2500rpm's....so keepn it under that on the break in run....but thats a great sign..and mind you with this turbo, we didnt want to be in boost all around town cause these gears are sooo tall...as you all know, and plus, we are incorperating the N2O to digress on the FJO N2O mini progressive controller through lag and fall-off through boost...
Ill have more info for you as you guys want to know...this has been a really neat project and I have had TONS of sponsor help...i will post all the stuff up in my build thread..i have a nice chronological time line pic movie i think you guys will like too.
Feel free to ask questions, we are doing this for the good of the LS4 communtity...we hit the wet shot end of things and now on to boosting...lets keep writting the book guys..
....so stay tuned for that one...hope you have about 35min LOL..you know me..
PS...I know it needs a tip LOL...its a lil "street fighter" right now cause we are building and tuning etc...the wastegate has its own devoted pipe as well that will eventually come out the other side and have chrome tip on that.....so we are keeping the factory look...shes sleepn....

Don't get me wrong here. I wish I had that kind of money to put into a car just for fun. But I don't, I am glad to see this happen, I often wondered about a remote turbo set-up on my Monte.
Again good luck

yeah...death to my transmission...its coming, and your absoloutely right!!! and we know this...right now, thats why we are not going to run slicks on her....if you can recall on Cartuning's kit, they just used a shift kit and some good ol 17" GTP Comp G wheels and tires to throw around....and those guys were running METH to up the boost to around 8-12psi, and Jay's held out the whole time...something like 2 years as his daily driver...until he sold the thing and it ended up getting parted out and some guy put it on his GXP with now meth or MAF and ran 6psi on it....and JAY didnt race his all the time either...Im not planning on it...its for show too...and we are going for the top end with the T70...so not so much ware and tear on the clutches in the low shift transistion end. I have combated the issue a lil further, by installing a shift kit, tranny cooler, and alum. fin tranny pan...that in combo with the GTP Comp G wheels and some used tires for now, should allow us to have a great time with her....
Im anticipating 415-425, pop on the N2O; which we are using to act as a cooling agent as well as a lil extra kick in the pants...prob only going to do a 25-50 digressive shot...it will hit and then fall off using the FJO...so maybe see 450 with N2O based upon those anticipated numbers above...i have had some say that I will probably see somewhere around 450-470whp and then upwards of close to 485-500whp with the spray up top...P.S. Cartuning has been a big help with helping with info on our application...thanks to Kevin and his staff over there...
