Thorley Header Project Update
#769
Yup, it sucks. Gotta get the Keyless remote module replaced, too. It sucks having to wait, but about the only reason I haven't gone completely nuts is that it will all be covered under warranty, or least, should be. Also, this happened before I got the headers installed, which would have voided any warranty I had. Timing is everything.

i got the call yesterday so i hope to get them by fri or sat. i'll be putting those babies in either this sunday or next weekend. lets see who gets them on first? hopefully, we won't lose a bunch of bottom end power with 1 3/4" primarys so im a little concerned. i bought headers for my ecotec 2.2 cavalier and i went from a 15.8 to 16.22. from others dyno rereports we all ended up losing 12ft/lbs of torque. mph stayed the same as well as my 60ft times. i have faith that these suckers will work but im still sceptical. i would rather pay 600 then a grand to find out.

I am welding a ss interlock flex to the headers into a "special" cat and then welding a 3" flange to the rest of the cat-back. I will also install an O'2 bung right before the "special" cat so I have a place to put the O'2 sensor. Well, that's my plan anyway. I hope it works out ok.

As requested, we are notifying you that on MAR 16, 10 at JARDINE PERFORMANCE, $529.25 was charged to your Capital OneŽ VISA PLATINUM account.
Plus the $100 deposit. $629.25 total. Not bad.
