Anyone want the dyno results from my intake swap?

i gained 24 hp at the wheels without a tune. I can tell it neesd a tune badly. The car pulls so hard that 1st gear is COMPLETLY useless at any speed. After about 5grand the car rockets foward. I Am now at 313hp at the wheels. I will post dyno graph sometime latewr when i have time.
The shop did a crazy good job on the ls6 intake. They didnt use epoxys. They plugged the other end of the intake with an acual plug. They were able to do it while keeping the DOD stuff intact. Also the adapter plate looks amazing. The entire car looks stock.

The whole set up looks really good. Your adapter looks way better than mine, no doubt. Did they canabalize your TBS to make it? Also, where did they route your PCV dirty side? I was going to show how I did mine wrong (I merged the clean side and dirty side and vented them into the neck, instead of routing the dirty side behind the TB to create flow through the crank case), but I haven't gotten around to it.
Seriously though, after the tune you should be close to 1 wheel HP per cubic inch, and after the headers well above it. Very nice.

I really do not know how they routed it. They didnt do anything with my tbs, they made that plate from scratch. It cost me 300 for a brand new ls6 intake. I paid 1900 in labor and small parts. But the shop said if they did it again they could do it for like 900-1200 in labor.

313whp is definitely nice though, but you have spent moneys for turbo and built trans!
Doesn't matter now, are you planning on re tuning and dyno?
When are we gonna see some 1/4 mile times from the beast!

wounder if they would just sell that adapter that thing looks good. do you think if this swap was done without hacking things up and i were to put the cover back on do you think it would pass a warranty inspection.

A few things. They are a VERY high end shop. They may be willing to sell the adapter and such but they did do some modifications. They shaved the bottom of the intake down and moved a few small things. I am sure we can work a discount together.
As far as i go. I am planning on tuning it after i get the headers on. I will be putting them on in the end of january as soon as they ship. I need new front tires though and its snowy here so i cant really bring it to the track.
The sound changed quite a bit. It is like adding a cold air intake. It sounds really good but the change is subtle and you wouldnt be able to notice it in a video. It sounds extra good when i hit it at highway speeds.
It was a huge amout of money but they did a great job and i was tired of having people tell me that i needed to do an intake lol

For an extra $1600 I don't feel as bad about my crappy adapter plate. Obviously most of that money is for labor, and they really did do a really nice job. I like how they cut and welded to get your fuel rail to fit. Because of it, they were able to straighten both sides of the connecting tube and raise the T, so they didn't have to carve the manifold. I'm going to guess that the extra brass 3/8ths vacuum fitting I see in the second pic was tapped and works, so that is probably connected to the PCV dirty air line.
I know that you've spent a ton of money, but you had a shop do the work and once you bolt on the headers and get tuned by JeremyF you'll probably be making just over 400HP at the crank on 325ci N/A engine. Power adders will almost always deliver more HP/$, but you've probably got one of the fastest N/A front wheel drive cars. If you still need more power a 50-100HP wet shot you should get the job done.

hmm, thats suprising..........is the LS4 intake restrictive or something? haha j/k. Good to hear. Now put them headers on and tune it, should be around 330-340 at the wheels. Not too shabby, could probably gain another 30 at the wheels with a bigger cam but for a stock idle you can't beat what you have.
BTW, you just gained 30hp at the crank without a tune...........
