I have had the gxp for about 6 months now and i have no idea what the lights that are under the fender side grills are for! mine dont work and was wondering if its a turn signal or maybe a running light and what is the bulb id number

 

show some pics cause i'm sure I do not have lights under my fender vents

 

if they're behind the front wheel, they should be a turn signal, very european, GM started putting them on the aura and malibu then stopped, i guess for cost reasons... but u should look in the owners manual, that should tell u what u wanna know... or like he said above, maybe they're not stock and the last owner wanted to look "cool" and just stuck some lights on there and didn't hook them up?

 

What lights? All I have under the fender vent is the "GM" applique.

 

Mine has lights in the fender vent because I put them there... They didn't come with them.

yeah the bulbs are behind the grills like jp's but i have no idea if there hooked up or not but everything back there looks untouched i thought it was stock

 

well i pulled it out today and it is hooked up but the sockets that the bulbs sit in are toasted, a run the the depot should fix that, then they will look like jp's
