The ZO6 cam is perfect for our engines 02+ LS6
Its got a wide Lobe separation for a smooth idle with tons a of vacuum, and its got a lot more exhaust duration then the intake lobe to help with the restrictive exhaust manifolds and cat. No it's not to big. We have plenty of cam stock though. My engine with rockers will pull up to 6100.

Thought I'd provide an update...so after a couple of days, I am hearing deeper exhaust tones, and definitely better throttle response. I had to work the last couple of days (weekends blow ), but I promise I will punch it sometime this week and tell you if I notice any changes.

Any idea about a better DOD/AFM camshaft? From the L76 (G8 GT)?

I just got a bbk ssi aluminum intake pretty cheaply. Ill check the clearance issues with that. Hopefully the stock fuel rail will fit. Looks like a 5004 and I already have a truck tb to use with it.

Just cut the back of your alt bracket off and get some injector adapters and that sucker will bolt right on.

I saw some professional products ones on ebay for 345$ too, but I would trust bbk more. I'm sure they are similar. Aluminum intakes do have heat soak issues, but I would rather have a bigger opening.

Yea it's a salvage take off. No idea what size those included injectors are. Hoping to just use the ls4 ones.

You could get away with LS6 injectors (28lb) but not LS1 26lb injectors without tuning.
You can get the injector adapters for 25.00 on E bay.
