Default New 0-60! but......

4.95, 5.05, 5.01 and 5.07
Last run was a 5.26 with massive spin and bouncing off the rev limiter.
Each run after resulted in the same. Is my trans trying to over shift? If so then why? Also, when does the fuel get cut off? I'm thinking its at 6100?

Shift are set at 5950 in each gear and the line pressure was slightly bumped.

My trans is over shifting when it gets hot. I need to move my shifts too 6100 and the fuel cut off to 6500

I just had the tap shift tables tranfered to the Drive mode and had the tap shift mode tables maxed out. Also, removed all tq management. Shifts real firm in tap and real soft at times in drive. Sometimes I can just about chirp the tires. I talked to Dave a TEP and he told me to put some of the tq management back in and to add more clutch packs to reduce the second gear clutch clearnce. Doing these two mods with a few of his secret tricks will make the trans neck snaping he said. I can't wait for 3.29's.

Had it dyno tuned with HP tuner software before all of my heavy mods so it's time to go back in. I'm sure wih tuning, I can crack 4.5's.
I'm pretty good at getting 5.0 0-60mph runs. Tires are what made the diff.

The ported manifold is the way to go as far as simplicity and price. You should pick up some nice gains

My car was set up as follows using HPT:

(1) Rev limiter raised to 6600
(2) Shifts commanded at 6250
(3) Line pressure upped 15%
(4) Stock tranny with $10 home made shift kit
(5) Downshift MPHs all reduced, especially the 2-1

Result: stunned clients in the passenger seat and humbled BMW drivers.
