I also own one. 2008 Liquid Silver Metallic Grand Prix GXP. I don't kid myself though. There are cars out there that are better in quality and performance. The 2010 Charger SRT8 happens to be one of them.

The Challenger is even faster than the Charger. One Day, I'll have one these two. When I drove the Charger I completely lost interest in my GXP. It's just a matter of time before I own one of these SRT8's. I'll make due with this Pontiac until the time is right.

The Challenger has the same motor and is much lighter. Imaging that.

I do agree they're an upgrade from our LS4 cars, but for the price difference it's really a matter of opinion. I'd take a LS2 CTS-V or a G8GT/GXP over either in a heartbeat.

I am glad I read this post! I too looked at the Charger R/T but could not pull the trigger. The looked too plain Jane and everyone around here perped theirs out!
I just bought a 08 Impala SS in Austin Texas for a little under $20k. The car had about 3500 miles on it. Now a month and a half later I have 8600 miles on it now. It was in the dealership for a broken fan switch and a/c unit (maybe caused by a fist or two to the unit for the ticking going on). I have to bring it back in for a steering wheel rattle. Both of my SSEi's had the dame problem. There were never fixed. The hood and trunks clear coat is peeling. I know it is still under factory warranty. The car was just bought Feb of 2010 and traded in May.
Anyhow I mod all my cars! I just can not leave anything alone. That being said, a K&N cold air, magnaflow exhaust with hogan downpipe, and a Vengeance Racing tune. This thing is still slow. I have an 02 P.E. Camaro and a 06 TB SS. I rarely drive them.
I got rid of my daily driver 05 Taurus (Team Taurus) for something nice. I love the way the car looks, but as far as the performance... there is not much of it. I am kinda questioning the purchase!
