OK, don't laugh...Anyone pull a trailer (gasp!)
I think my truck might be sold. I have a motorcycle trailer, the most I would pull would be my streetbike. I would say max total trailer weight of maybe 1000lbs. I used to pull it with a '91 cavalier (3.1 - Z24), and it did great. Anyone have personal experience with these cars?
Tranny warranty void? (aka, take off hitch before claim?)
Pic for proof.
The most I ever pulled with it was two dirtbikes. I also had air adjustable shocks on it to keep it from squatting. Don't know how much the gxp would squat.

I personally do not own a front drive LS4, 2000 WS6 here. That aside, all the towing information on your vehicle will be in your owners manual, and your cars gross vehicle weight will be on the door sticker. If the manual says you can tow, It won't void your warranty, if it says you can't, you better pull the hitch before taking the car in, lol. That's my $.02. I'm sure someone with one of your cars will chime in though.

No laughing matter
I do, in fact, tow with the SS. She does just fine, and it's not a small load. It MIGHT be close to 1000lbs, not sure though. I do a good job of loading the majority of the weight over the axle, so the rear suspension isn't overloaded. I towed last year while lowered, and intend to do it again in July.
What kills me is that I traded in a perfectly good V6 Explorer (for $1850), when all this time I could have been paying $20/mo more on my car note and had a second vehicle that I could beat the **** out of through the winter and when the need to tow arises.

I am guessing 1/4 mile times will suffer.
How awesome would it be to win a race while in tow though, lol.
BuffaloSS,
Does the car handle ok, torque steer more?
