Been doing the cruise since the first one (95).
I usually take that week off and hang out in Birmingham every night (weather dependant). Then head up to my Square Lake spot on Fri. & Sat.

Mt Clemens still happens every Wed. night but it's hasn't been quite what it used to be.

Better get there early. It's not supposed to start raining until after lunch, with a %60 chance by dinner!

So Woodward was a good time. I cruised almost all day, made a lot of noise with my cutout open, and generally got more attention than I deserved in a late model Grand Prix because of how much noise I was making. It somehow never got old, even after about 10 hours and 1/2 a tank of gas. Other cruisers asked me about my car, and I asked about their car. I didn't do any burnouts, but I spent a lot of time dropping it into neutral and revving the engine. I had planned to walk around and take more pictures, but I just had too much fun cruising.

It sprinkled all morning and afternoon, then cleared up and got sunny in the evening. Total opposite of what the weather man said would happen.

I met up with Levi after lunch in a closed dealer parking lot because his friend with the Goat fragged his clutch doing a burnout. It was good to give my ears a break and let lunch settle. When I left they were getting a U Haul to flat bed the thing home. I met up with Jesse later in the day, ate dinner, and walked around for a while. That's when I snapped these photos. They are not the best or most interesting cars, but I thought it would help set the scene if you've never been. If you notice late model SUVs and Minivans in the background, well, they were everywhere too. There was everything really, from Lambos to Yenkos to stock Caravans. A lot of people in stock boring late models were driving and taking pictures of the classics on the side of the road, so they weren't totally offensive.
