Transmision Slip Help
Transmision Slip Help This happened tonight. I did one pull through 2nd into 3rd without issue. Slowed down and tried it again, when it went into 3rd the RPMs fell off slowly and it hoovered at 4k before picking back up again. About a mile down the road the CEL came on. I waited a few miles and decided to try it again. It did the same thing but for longer, this time I came out of the throttle.
Has anyone else here seen transmission slip cause a CEL? It's fine everywhere but shifting at WOT. SHifts are still firm and snappy everywhere else.

I have a weird problem with mine. If I get on it doesn't have to be wide open it will take off but doesn't feel like all the power is there, but when it shifts to second the tires chirp and then takes off. I honestly don't get on it much and it has happened twice. I have 50K on the trans now. No I do not get a CEL.

very very simmilar to problem's I had, but mine did not throw a code. Nearing the end of it's life, it would only shift nice when giving it a ton of throttle, shifting under low RPM's was a struggle, and hurt me inside lol
