with some work their are a few that are really dirty my buddies dad has a 02 crown vic with a 03 04 cobra motor gear and some other thing put like 450 to the ground at the time and we got rolled by a magnum and i me bad . the crown vic went 12.57 at 111 the night before .

Yeah and Mustangs just really arnt that quick. I smoked one on my way home from work one night. V-6 new camaros are easy. And still havnt got a good run with a LX Hemi car yet but did get to toy with one a while back we where pretty close but heavy cop area and i wasnt taking chances. Weather warms up me and my bro will take moms car out. 300c tuned. It gets 140 pretty damn quick.

whether we keep up mod for mod isnt the point. its a cobra mustang not a v8 fwd family sedan. the early 4v na ones really arent that quick. at least in my opinion. just watched your video and it looked like you beat him except for the roll race. and mod for mod? its a geared 4v mustang from a roll. i think if your car had some more gearing you would have beaten him there too. these are just my views. regardless the debate was about a newer cobra vs a magnum and the magnum winning. either a really fast magnum or a bad driver in a cobra. especially if it was an 03 04. ive only matched up against one once in my 80. im sure it was stock or just an exhaust car, but it hung in there from a roll. ive been in bolt on ones and theyre very tough.

Throw a corner at a Mustang driver and they will be confused.
That aside I know what 03 and 04 cobras are. It is just that MOST mustangs are nothing more than an exhaust system and a intake.
And for me to race a 300 or whatever horse the most recent GTs are in my 3500 lb car and easily walk him (yes i got a ricer flyby then exited for home) is just what i am basing it on.
Even better my brother had a 03 dakota with a 4.7 lowered rt wheels intake exhaust and NO CHIP YET he ran right up to about 95 mph with a 99 mustang GT until he hit his speed limiter. Just sayin. Just sayin.

Not surprising. Even though they were slow from the factory, all you needed to add was some 3.73s, free-flowing exhaust and decent shifter and you were in the mid 13's. They still didn't MPH very well, but they could really ET.
