My First Car
My First Car Boring night at work, and I got to looking at old pictures of my very first car I bought on my own.
1999 Pontiac Gran Prix GTP. It had exhaust, intake, plugs, wires, and new pulley. the last 3 three were installed 1 week before this happened...
This happened while i was living in Illinios in December of 2005. First significant snow I had ever driven in. The snow fell the day before this, and warmed up just enough to melt it, and then it refroze over night. This happen at about 530am. Rolled over a patch of black ice at 50mph (speed limit of the road I was on was 55mph), and the traction control engaged. The right front wheel spun up, and as soon as I regained traction I was pulled into a ditch. Then hit an elevated drive way, was airborne for about 30 to 40 feet. Landed on the passenger side, and nearly rolled the car. Don't remember much of the accident, just hitting the snow and then feeling really cold in drivers seat. I walked away from the wreck and made it to work that day. Only problems I had was a really bad head ache and a sore back for about a week.

i am very lucky...the cop that showed was surprised that i was moving around and that i refused medical. i went the hospital the next day after if was hard and painful to get out of bed.
