Default Question about Comp Tune...

When I decide to get my computer/trans tuned, is there a way the person doing it can remove the annoying beeping noise about my damn seat belt? I did a search and I couldnt find anything relating to it, unless of course I iz the blindz.

nope, that has nothing to do with the ECM or TCM modules for tuning...

that's part of the BCM - body control module... can't do anything about that...

Go to a junk yard and get the end of a seatbelt, and plug it in and leave it there

If I recall correctly, when I read my owners manual (I know, who does that?) it said that the "chimes" come through the cars audio system. And there was a key you pressed with the radio of to adjust it. I think it was the Auto Vol button? (Don't quote me on that one) but, I think it only adjusts between high and low.

Could be wrong but, check the owner's manual.

yea i will check my manual and see what i can come up with. its just annoying due to living on a snow route i have to move my car from one side of the street to the other. i can deal with it, just thought if it was part of the tune somehow it would be nice to get rid of it.

I can't see your sig in mobile view but I guess that you don't have a GXP. The GXP only chimes twice about your seatbelt, once after a mile of driving, then again after another mile. After two miles it stays quiet the rest of the ride.

I do believe he has a Impala. I have a GXP as well and never noticed the seatbelt thing he was talking about.

This correct. Chimes and turn signals do come through the audio system, however, I don't think there's any way to adjust volume.
