Default Oh man, my car is screwed!!!

The trans is finally about to take a dump, shifting hard, the converter won't lockup and for some reason there is an engine misfire and the exhaust smells straight up terrible. No clue if these are related issues. It all seemed to start happening after if filled up. Bad gas????

Is the check engine light on? If so it could be a bad MAF IIRC

How does the exhaust smell? Sweet like alcohol or rotten eggs. If it's sweet it could be too much ethanol/e85 in the gas or coolant in the combustion chamber from a cracked head gasket.

I hate that GM set these up so that trans shift pressure maxes out when the maf fails. Not what you want on a transmission that can't handle normal torque from these engines. Fortunately you can tune that little quirk out.

Cracked plug in #1. No idea how that happened but it's fine now. Flushing the trans out too, fluid was burnt to hell.

That is good that you got out of that relatively cheaply.
