New 2006 Imp SS. New member. Whats good?!
Hey there. Typical new guy 1st post here... Just bought a 2006 Imp SS. 50k. F'n stoked! Runs great (Stock). I have a K&N cai, 2 Flowmaster Super 44's; 3" in/out & a Magnaflow converter in the mail...Running on 93...Anybody have an idea on similarly modded cars track times or hp/tq reads? Im headin to the track soon to test.

Probably run about 13.9 @ 98?
Just cut the cat off, no need for the magnaflow unit. And swap out the Flowmasters with another muffler and it'll probably pick up some. Other than that, hit up a catless DP, cutout and a tune.

I'm pretty sure 13.9 bone stock is the record...but then again I could have missed something.

buy a trans cooler, I just put a bigass one in my car, gotta find a better way to secure it though than just zipties haha, but it works great with no leaks, its only in the low 40's here but after driving for 45 mins about 20 miles, the temp didnt go over 130

There was a guy named TonyGXP who with a headlight removed ran a 13.6 stock. This was in a GXP. I'll do some digging.

And I don't know how in the hell supercat ran a 106-107 mph with just rockers and a ported intake. (must have been downhill!)

https://ls1tech.com/forums/ls4-perfo...2s-almost.html 13.07's!
I think Travis needs to update the track times and place himself 2nd. LOL

13.26@105.17 2.05 60ft with a early 5980 shift. I now shift at 6500 and am installing headers so I'm hoping for a lot more. My dashhawh has recorded an improvement of .2 and 2mph more with the 6500 shift. I don't even know what to expect with headers. The cam was a custom grind from EPS and was spec'ed for use with headers. I plan on going back to the track in 2 weeks.
Here is my old tread with a few updates. The first couple of pages I went a little flip floppy.
