Trying my best to leave it stockish, but already have some parts ordered.first off will be magnaflow mufflers, cat delete, trans cooler, turn off DOD, and a poly upper mount to replace the rotted rubber one. Later may do an LS6 intake and headers if I can find a set.

Yeah the headlights need replaced anyway so I was gonna order a black set and maybe a different grill. No way I can lower it though my driveway and road are far to rough. I'm not sure of the wheel make, but I'll check as soon as its out of the shop(radiator leak 5 days after I got it)

Yea i understand, i've been meaning to low my imp and have negleted to do so haha. As for the grill there arent many options. I think another member posted something about an alternative grill but im not sure if it was for the mc or imp... someone'll correct me.

I was just thinking the other day if I had a choice to pick a color again, I would pick the red one with black stripes. Looks good. Throw some black overlays over those SS emblems!!

Got to looking at the headlights today and noticed the plastic piece they connect to is pretty busted up(damage circled in yellow). anyone know the part number or even what this is called? If anyone has a parts car with this piece I'd be interested in buying it.

Thats a SSuper clean looking car. If given a choice i would have gotten the mc over the gxp. if you get some spare time, sanding the engine cover smooth and painting it to match the rest of the car could really make the engine compartment come together imo.

I just wanted to post alittle update. I finaly found a new header panel and i figured as long as I have the bumper cover off I'd add a transmission cooler along with the new black headlights. Also added a 91 octane Diablo tune and D.O.D. is O.U.T . The cooler is wired but isn't plumbed yet, i'm waiting on some fittings from Derale so I don't have to cut up and splice into the factory line.
Next order of business will be exhaust, gonna chop out the catylictic(sp?) converter and then buy some magnaflows.
Anyone have experience with the LS2 intake? I know the LS6 is the holy grail of LS intakes but the LS2 is cheaper, looks better, and accepts a larger TB w/out an adapter.

You can gut the cat. Just take it off and hammer a pipe in it till you knock it all out.
