Default Intake Manifold

Is the intake manifold off of the G8 GT the same as the LS6?

Will it fit our heads and be an improvement over stock?

so what does that mean to you that it can't be modified. at least it's not titanium, lead, or some other hard metal.

That may be with aluminum on iron, but this is aluminum on aluminum isn't it. Or are you referring to too much hot air being in the plenum area.

aluminum dose heat soak, not as bad as iorn but it dose. its just something else to heat up the incoming air, but i personally like the aluminum better for some reason

Vroom, well I was looking at it like the ls6 intake is the better intake. Port the ls6 intake and you are in the same ballpark. Essentially what you are getting with this plus some other goodies like fuel rail, other odds and ends. Just exploring options because want to do this.

you are right, because we didn't have a use for them and until the LS4 came along neither did anyone else. I know I had posted mine locally at one time for $25 and not one bite. Now that I have an LS4 to play with as well I'll be taking stuff I had shelved as junk and modding the Prix

It's a buddy of mine who's had several F-Bods and Vettes. I knew he had them and asked what he wanted out of them. I told him I'd get them sold for him
