My 2006 Imp SS clean-up
New to the forum but have been lurking for years.
I decided it was time to upgrade from my 1st car, which was a 1997 Monte Carlo to this Impala SS.
Initially when I saw it at the dealership it looked fantastic, I looked it up and down and didn't see next to any scratches chips or dents let alone swirls. Obviously they were just using a good glaze to hide the defects, cause once I got it home and washed it with Chemical Guys Citrus Wash It was a completely different finish. Car has 5% tint on the back windows, their was tint on the front two (illegal in MI), but was removed by the dealer ship. Also I put a Pioneer AVIC-X930bt screen in it as well as a 8" W7 with a JL amp. The rims are 20" and I also have the factory rim/tires. Also I put in some HID's and a Optima red top.
The car was washed/foamed with Chemical Guys CW to remove any existing wax/glaze/sealant to show its true appearance.
Taped the car up and proceeded to polish away.
Thanks for looking!
