i know i know no one trusts these thing but what if i got the kit threw the turbo out they gave me and got a legit turbo?

Honestly,
If you can make it work by building a custom cross over an turbo downpipe. **** it why not. Id try it if i had the mean to bend piping an ****. Also if i had a HP tuner i would try it. Oh and if i had another car to drive to work besides a 5.9 gas guzzlin dodge shitty ram.
But I say try it. A guy on GM High Tech Performance Mag with a White T/A did it. Ebay turbo kit and some piping an some tuning.

Screw that kit. Just start fresh. Search for Rosko85. He has a rear mount set up that put down 400whp with very little boost and dead #7 cylinder. Should be around 600whp by this time next year.

I wouldn't say "too small for the 5.3", but I would say that if you're going to do it, go bigger than the dinky thing that comes with that kit.
Don't wanna go too big though, since you can only run 6-8 PSI on these cars without alky, and too big of a turbo will kill spool and not be efficient at these low boost levels.
He simply does not need an 88 MM beast.
