What LS6 parts compatible?
Which of these would be compatible with my 07 LS4 GXP? And would any benefit?

Would this be too out dated?

cam, springs, not sure on pushrods because of the different lifters. if you dont know the benefits of a cam swap its probably best off you do attempt one
the truck intake wont get you anywhere, but maybe some torque. oh and i doubt itll fit under the stock hood.

Well I'd wait to see if anyone has more input. But as long as the core size is the same between the ls cams, which I'm pretty sure they are, it should work. Though I'm not 100% certain but the front of the cam may need to be ground down some to let the timing gear clear the timing cover.

Thats what i was wondering if a stock ls6 cam would even be worth it.
I did find an LS6 intake for $300. Is that a reasonable price for that? Im going to inquire more information about it.

I think sittingmongoose did a LS6 cam swap some time back but didn't like the results. I did a cam swap last year before my dyno-disaster. It was a lot of work for not a lot of HP gain, but I sure did enjoy driving the car with the windows down. If you pm me your email address I will send you a video.

Ls6 manifolds require alot of modification of you ac setup and power steering rack. Better to do a custom setup or thorly headers. I ended up using the front ls6 manifold and custom built rear header. I heard someone making a wedge adapter to make the rear ls6 manifold clear. But I couldn't find the person who made the adapter.

That truck intake (I think out performs the LS1 intake… I think?) will fit but, not easily. Need to modify alternator bracket, might need to modify the power steering pump, it has a return style fuel rail, and throttle body wont bolt on. If you like the idea of the tuck intake check this out.

I’ve been stupid busy lately but I should finish it up in a couple of weeks? That’s not a simple bolt on either, but I think it would be worth it.

the ls6 intake does not require that much modification......
there is a sticky on how to do it.
Also i did a swap to an ls6 cam....wasnt really worth it i saw no gains. If you do a cam, do a custom grind, its usually about 350$ for a cam.

Personally, I'd ONLY go with the LS6 intake.. Get the LS1 rockers with the Trunnion upgrade.. All the LS guys I talk to rave about them.. Other than that, customer and/or aftermarket companies produce the best parts.. I'd go with Patriot Gold spring kit with titanium retainers.
