raced a 300c SRT-8

raced a 300c SRT-8 Driving home from the Sunday night meet and i get stuck at a light next to a srt8 
. The light turned green and off we went, (ill be honest it was not one of my best launches i spun all of first even with me feathering the throttle) we were neck and neck till i shifted into 2nd when he flew by. Next run we did a 30 roll with me in 1st gear, (still spun) i pulled till he was at my rear bumper then around 70-80 mph he flew by me. We did a few more runs with the same results each time him smoking me once i shifted to 2nd. I wish we had a 5 or a 6 speed the tune made it pull a little harder in 2nd but I WANT MORE!!!
I am honestly very surprised i kept up with it considering they have 425hp and do a 1/4 mile in mid to low 13s. I read all the badges to make sure it was not just a 300c with the design package, trunk badge said "SRT-8" not "SRT design".

Yep. I've been pulled by one at the bottom of second. I was stopping the pull by the top though but we will never know what would have happened. He said it was a cai/catback charger srt-8 afterwards.

Raced one, he had a passenger and i was alone. 70 roll my front bumper was at his front wheel he took off first. He didnt pull on me until ~110-115. driver mod? .....maybe. Not sure though.
