sorry im in idiot at this but i thought this was a whole nother engine. where can i find to do this, im interested, but if you had more power to my car more likley the trans is gonna crap out just like everyone elses on here right?

For details you can do a search (LS6 intake) or read through the sticky.

The intake will add 2-3 more MPH and shave .4-.5th's in the 1/4 mile.

The trans will go when it decides too.

X2 I added 2 mph with traction problems and humid 75 degrees . Cant wait to go in two weeks with colder weather.

Like David said the trans will go when it decides to. I just went past 100k on the original trans(knock on wood) and shifting pretty good. I really recommend this mod , its the best mod I've done to the SS.

Well thats the deciding factor , im gonna do my exhaust and then a ported ls6 with a nice cam.

Both runs were 35 to 100 in about 12 seconds. It would be nice to see how acceleration is from 0 to 100mph. Then from 100 to 120mph.

Just one question? I see alot of people doing this mod but cant you use something like a fast intake? I know there spending. NM I saw the sticky on it.

Well i will see whay I can do. 0 to 100 Mph will be worthless it will smoke them tires , I would have to use my MTs for that. Here is one I did a couple of days ago with the retune.

LOL Yes sir, I told my tuner fck it set them at 6500. I know I need to upgrade my valvetrain.

Looks the same to me . And yours was without headers and LS6 intake. Well depending on what times I do Friday , will determine on making a decision as to what is next for the Impy.

I was trapping 103 consistently in 50 degree weather, that vid was a lil cooler. Good luck on Friday. What's the best e.t. so far?
