Ran these 35w kits many of times in many of cars. Just got my shipment in and installed the low beams and am having nothing but issues. They either wont start up right or wont stay on without turning off, sometimes flicker.
Seems to me that it would be a voltage issue but Im @ 14.5v
I am not using the additianal relay harness. Do GXP's need this harness to function properly? Do I need one relay harness per ballast? Ive never had issues with not using a harness so diddnt think to pick it up this time. Did some searching and see some people saying the harness is bullshit but im pretty sure my problem lies here. Anyone else running plug and play 35w ddm's w/o harness or issue?
Grrrrr, voltage. Wiring gauge

Get a relay harness.
1 relay harness will cover both ballasts, so you'd just need to buy a single one.
All three of our cars have DDM HIDs, including our Impala which has them on the highs, lows, and fogs. We've not had any problems in over 2 years, save for a relay that needed to be replaced on one of them.

The eBay harnesses are pretty cheap. I had one that pulled a couple of wires out of before even installing it. I wound up getting new ones from DDM tuning. I think they're around $15 plus shipping.

make sure the relays you use are the ones that are epoxied together at the bottom not the ones that snap together, we dont get **** for rain out here and i considered the relays location to be very save and it still got a few drops of water in there and smoked out a relay. the ddms are not all that great in my opinion. im on my second set of them after the first ones would cut in and out all the time and now my new raptor ballasts have been pretty good for the most part but i still have hit a few issues here and there. but not 100% its them i have a suspension it could be the relay
