LS2 intake too big for LS4?
IMHO you can never have too much intake on this car. all the low end power even at stock levels is unusable with the traction handicap. I'm getting ready to do a whole drivetrain build with a 6T75 trans, and either an LS2 or 5.3L aluminum truck block. and I intend on trading as much low end as I can for high rpm screamin HP thats actually usable with this car. Im gonna go with an LS6 intake either way because of the throttle body options, a truck 5.3 DBW throttle body is almost plug and play.
I used the LS4 because of it's initial cost and compact size vs. LS1. On the WP I save a couple inches at least. Sounds like the LS2 will be just right. One of the reasons I got the LS2 is because the connectors for the injectors are the same (I believe). Also the LS2 is a less desired intake so it was cheaper.

Now if you wanted to run a LS2 intake, I know of a TB that will work for certain years of the LS4.

On a side note I scraped the truck intake.

I'm assuming that the TB for the LS2 requires the E67 ECU, so '07+....
I was thinking about converting to cable style to save some headaches and have a giant TB beyond porting stock, for less $ than stock.
The project isn't running yet and likely won't even have time to fiddle with the new intake in order to make my deadline. pics here

The challenge with retaining the LS4 throttle body is that the motor assy and connector stick out behind the mounting flange, so you need to offset the LS4 throttle body and use a 3/4" adapter plate to get everything to clear... IN THEORY - haven't made mine yet.
