Me vs 3.8 Genesis
My friend finally finished modding his car he just got full bolt-on i/h/e tune. He showed me 290whp/270wtq dynojet.
His car sounds beautiful with the exhaust he has. I didn't get to record but we had 3 runs. One from dig. I feathered hard off the line scared to spin and that he would take off, he stayed with me until I hit second and started falling back. 2nd run from 30 roll I laid on it eating tires he gets about half car and I reel him and pull half car back on him till close to 100. 3rd run from 30, I don't get in it as hard he hangs until right after I hit second I pull a lil bit more than a car, he ends up getting behind me and drafts me until about 156-160 when he lets off and I do the same. We plan on running again I plan on getting a friend to ride with both us so it'll still be even and have 2 diff camera shots.

I got to drive both automatic and manual 3.8 liter 2013 Genesis coupes this weekend at a Car & Driver event last weekend.
Both cars were pretty quick, though the manual was noticeably faster. The manual felt a a bit quicker than our LS4 Impala, but nowhere near the 348 HP Hyundai advertises.
Also got to drive an Genesis R-spec with the 5.0 liter V8 and 429 HP. That car, despite the much higher curb weight, felt like it had every bit of its rated HP. That damn thing was FAST., it's just as shame that it's so generic.
