I read through the LS1/6 intake swap article and i'm not sure if I would want to put that much work into a new intake.(i'm lazy, yes I know haha). If I were to bring my intake to a shop and have it ported would I be able to get close to the flow of an LS1/6 or are the LS4 intakes just that bad?

Here we go again. Unless you get rid of the restriction that is the pinched neck. There will be NO worth while gains except the financial gain if your porter. Though your *** dyno may be feeling the gobs of extra power...they are like mantei teo's girl friend...its nice to think they exist but everyone else is laughing because we know its make believe.

So you speak out of experience or opinion?
I know Mel, pretty sure he wouldn't be BS'ing about something of this nature.
I agree, LS6 mani is moreso worth the money though, especially when putting all costs into consideration.

Because you know somebody is irrelevant and so is trying to call someone out because they enforced what the community already knows. Ls4 Intakes will always have the issue of the tb neck you can hog the **** out of it all day along but it all comes down to feeding the motor with something almost half the size of the tb. There is no debating that fact.
