The theme is its my car. Therefore if I like it then thats all I care about. Neways the scoops and racing stripes are coming off next week. The fender vents were on the car when I bought it and those are also coming off

I'd be more concerned with actually making the car have a set of ***** then worry about appearance but that's my thing. To each their own however I would agree calling the job you did tacky. The fake hood scoops and the stripe need to go.I'd crack open the headlight housings and paint them black or white. Leave the hash mark on that's OK. Accents the rest of the work you did. I applaud your effort just go for "clean" over gaudy
This is how my car currently sits.

I am going for the clean look. Just not looking forward to peeling the stripes off for an entire day im sure. And then getting all the adhesive off. Thats gonna be annoying haha. Im getting a set of black rims this spring jist not sure what ones yet. I currently just plasti dipped my stock rims. But yea once the stripes and scoops are off, all ill have is the fender hashes, black rims, blacked out tail lights. Thats the look im attacking

i went to the paint store and bought tolulene USE COTTON TOWELS!! no microfiber follow it up with some polishing compound after you rinse the area with some water. then follow up with some wax. I debadged my car and got all the gunk **** off in less than 30min total for the whole job
