Anyone have any experience with these headlight covers? I want to paint them silver to match the car, is that possible? I know the rear slotted covers are ABS and state they can be painted, but these don't mention it.

I just like the look, I wasn't going for projector headlights. In both cars we've had them on I've hated them, all the light was too low to the ground for my liking.
I could probably paint them, I ended up doing that on a previous vehicle. I'm just such a perfectionist I'd drive myself crazy being nitpicky on it.
I just got a quote of $200 to clean the lights, paint both sets of covers with base/clear, and install. I don't know if that's good or bad.
