Monsoon Speaker replacement. Hey guys, I think the stock monsoon system is really good but I would like clearer sound and better base quality. I was thinking about some rockford fosgates and heard that they are pretty good. Also the higher end kickers. Also I would like to keep the stock amp and head unit. Anyone know some good 6x9s and 3.5s? The front ones are 3.5s right? Thanks guys

Yeah that's supposed to be the 5th dimensional imaging speaker. Infinity or Hertz. Both high end. I'm leaning to the nexus due to its on sale for 99 bucks from 150. Not cheap for one small speaker. The magnet will be twice as heavy. You will notice it.

Check out soundqubed, ssa,crescendo and sundown audio for anything you need their your quality bang for the buck audio manufacturers just to name a few. Rockford makes nice amps and high end components but that's about it and their way overpriced.
I'm going to disconnect the center when i install an aftermarket head unit it's not as big a factor as nice speakers and good signal and power, and remove the factory amp because it's not very good.

Verdad Gallardo Replaced that POS center dash with a Hertz 3.4 speaker , just cut the red and black wires close as you can to the factory speaker crimp female spade connectors on them them push them on the spades on your new speaker then this way you use the factory black clips to connect like stock. Screw it down with the 2 screws I just reused the factory ones and snap the monsoon grill gack down. NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE!!!!!!!! IM NOT KIDDING. It gves you a center concert hall feeling. Fills the hole in the front middle. Better sound imaging and staging. Everything feels live. I was playing some Beatles and some Pink FLoyd and also The Eagles.. Sounds soooo much better now. Hertz is a higher end speaker you have to buy 2 but for a 3.4 inch size speaker that level of Hertz isnt pricey. I got pair for 88$. Their top of the line reference component with 6.5 mid woofer and 1' dome tweeter can handle 400w a side. $1300!!!! Im sure you can find it cheaper online. I listened to some jazz at the store with just the components playing. Not in a insulated sound room either. BLew me away. Never heard stuff like that. i swore it was LIVE. The bass was phenomenal. The musicality was like nothing I never heard and the day before I listened to some Focal components that cost 569. Didn't touch the Hertz by a mile. Hertz's second tier, 1 level down from the 1300 ones are still $799. Im gonna try to save for those. Close to the top ones just less bass. JMHO.

The fronts make the difference. Rears not soo much unless you go with a dedicated sub or subs.. hang a pair of 8" or 10" subs of your choice in a fiberglass made infinite box like the 6x9's are bolted in. That way you still have 75% of your trunk. Bass in back mids and highs in front. can't go wrong with that combo. Need a mono bridged amp of at least 150w per side as well. Needs to installed profesionally.
