Car is on the dyno right now and tuner says the mufflers looked restrictive, what do people usually do to get better flow without buying a a whole exhaust system ? I was thinking to cut them off and just weld something up lmk thanks

you can certainly just buy a muffler by itself & have an exhaust shop weld it up in place of the stocker. if it's performance & less restriction you want, look for a straight-through design as opposed to a chambered one.

Are you still all the way stock on your exhaust? Yea the whole rear portion is restrictive as well the portion right after the cat. All in all theres not much good about the stock exhaust.

I could also use some exhaust information.

Like what style mufflers (offset, etc.), tubing, headers, etc.

i went with 3 inch, and put some knock off flowmaster mufflers on it. a little loud for me, but sounds good.

Not a bad deal for all mandrel bent. Did you go with stainless? How was the fit and quality. You went with 3", what does the two rear exits taper down to at the rear? Did they maintain 3" there as well? Only reason I ask is that I have a ZZP set up on my MC SS and although it is a 3" center section, it tapers down to 2.25" for the two rear exits....

no i didnt go with stainless. the quality was good, fit i had some issues but thats was probably me more then them. just had issues getting everything strait but doing it on my back in my garage didnt make that easy, plus i did a 3 inch downpipe at the same time.

it stays 3 inch all the way. 3 inch to the y, then 3 inch out it. so you need 3 inch mufflers as well.

yeah it hand hangers but they have to be welded on. yeah it hooks in right after the cat. i did a 3 inch downpipe at the same time so i cant tell you how well it mounts to stock.

it basically came with everything but mufflers and tips.
